What we do in Bordeaux, we also carry at a European level: creating spaces of transmission and sharing around the values that matter to La Foudre, fighting oppressive systems, care, popular education and artistic practices.
March 2026, in the Azores
cLever, a training course for youth workers
From 16 to 24 March 2026 we were in Ponta Delgada, on the island of São Miguel, for an Erasmus+ training course for youth workers, focusing on systemic oppression, feminism and LGBTQIA+ issues. Seven full days of collective learning, exchanges and encounters, to strengthen our practices and empower ourselves together.
The cLever project provides youth workers with tools to promote tolerance, acceptance and inclusion, and to address the systemic discrimination faced by LGBTQIA+ people, women, racialized individuals and young people in precarious situations.
Identify and act
Learn to identify, prevent and respond to discrimination in youth work settings, with an intersectional approach to inequality.
Change methods
Work with popular education, participatory methods and artistic practices, to build inclusive, safe and supportive environments.
Build a network
Become part of a European youth workers’ network, exchange practices and strengthen the capacity of participating organisations.
In partnership with APF Açores, Still I Rise Collective and Leopardo Daltónico.

Two projects submitted in October 2026, for 2027
Artivism
A project on artistic practices as tools for struggle and social transformation.
Both applications are being written and will be submitted in October 2026. Dates, partners and participant profiles will be published here once they are confirmed.

Who can join, and on what terms
These training courses are open to youth workers and professionals supporting young people: socio-cultural facilitators, psychologists, social workers, engaged artists, trainers, teachers and public service agents.
- 18 years old or over
- An intermediate level of English, as the courses are held in English
- Ready to be involved throughout the whole project, from preparation to dissemination
Travel, activities, food and accommodation are covered by the Erasmus+ programme, within reimbursement limits set by country of departure. No participation fee is charged.
